waste, landfills space is limited ant typically not properly designed (a clear euphemism) to protect against leakage. Without sufficient space, they usually resort to dumping debris into the sea or are forced to pay for transport by barge to the mainland. Needless to say these alternatives do not provide a practical or responsible solution. Green VI is a glassblowing studio situated in the British Virgin islands (BVI) capable of using waste glass from bottles discarded by tourists and recycle it to make glass products. Visitors get to buy their own wast as souvenirs and carry it out of the island! With Xaquixe I collaborated designing equipment for and training members of the Green VI Studio.
